See previous comment. I have referred several people to Dr. Evans

9/3/2014

As previously stated in this survey, he is awesome!

8/28/2014

Dr. Evans is a wonderful Dr.

8/27/2014

I was treated like a person and not a patient in room # sewing so.

8/26/2014

Dr. Evans is a great doctor. He is very friendly and he listens to what I have to say. I trust that he knows what is best for me because his credentials give me the utmost confidence in him.

8/18/2014

Very good experience.

8/8/2014

Dr. Evans spent a great deal of time talking with me about how I was doing and he told me about current IC research/diet. We had a very thorough discussion about diet and following a gluten free diet. He listened to what I had been doing that has been helping me control my IC and he was very encouraging and positive. Dr. Evans took his time with me and it was very easy to talk with him. He is a very knowledgeable and caring doctor.

8/6/2014

incredible Doctor who laboriously went through all my test results explaining my condition and planned care.

8/4/2014

I have referred several people to Dr. Evans since i have been a patient. He is an absolute gem and we are beyond lucky to have him in our state!

7/26/2014

Very good Doctor.

7/19/2014

Dr. Evans always listens to me and explains things in terms I can understand. I do not feel rushed, he spends enough time with me and is a quality doctor.

7/19/2014

excessive wait and then 5 min blood test

7/7/2014

I can't say enough good things about Dr Evans.

7/1/2014

Dr Evans provides all the time needed to cover my medical needs. I never feel rushed, knowing he is truly interesed and is willing to listen (an unusual occurance by todays medical professionals). For this reason, I am never concerned that my appointment time has passed without seeing Dr Evans - he is giving the time needed to care for another patient.

7/1/2014

He spends the time with me, and always answers all my questions..

6/20/2014

I love having Dr. Evans as my care provider. I can relate to him and understand what he tells me. He is very professional at all times but conveys a feeling family warmth and concern with every appointment.

6/17/2014

My husband and I were really surprised and thankful that Dr. Evans was encouraging, confident in his decisions, very precise in explaining my condition, the treatment plan and future plans to us. He was very personable, empathetic, precise and so much more! We left feeling optimistic, hopeful and relieved that we finally found a specialist that listened and encouraged us that if this treatment plan doesn't work, not to worry, there are many other options.....after 4 years of seeing doctor's about this condition, suffering in a significant amount of pain; Dr. Evan's knowledge and prescribed plan has made a substantial improvement in the quality of my life in only a week of treatment.....He's truly a God send and I can't stress enough that feeling like your doctor is listening, hearing you and also empathetic to your situation can really make all the difference in how you perceive what the future holds.

6/13/2014

The best!

6/3/2014

Dr. Evans really IS the best in the nation for IC treatment and research. Really I'm lucky. He's a cool person too and the last 24 years with him have been God's way of giving me a break considering I have IC and all that goes with it. You all don't know how blessed you are to have him on your staff.

5/29/2014

Dr. Evans makes the visit pleasant with his attention and care for the patient. Feel fortunate to have access to him and Wake Forest Baptist Urology as medical providers.

5/20/2014

Dr. Evans is not the problem at all, the problem is actually getting in to see him. He is very professional and excellent 'bedside manner' but I have to schedule way in advance to see him.

5/18/2014

Dr is just fine.

5/18/2014

Bob Evans is the best!

5/18/2014

Will follow Dr Evans wherever he practices. Have referred 3 other family members, two of which had surgery. Is a wonderful physician and person and an excellent example of a caring, concerned physician.

5/13/2014

Dr Evans always takes time to tell me all about the condition I have and the treatment that he thinks is best for me.

5/13/2014

Dr. Evans is one of the ONLY good physicians left on this earth! He treats me for multiple urologic conditions and is up to date on items which are important to me. He is an excellent physician and should be recognized for his results within his area of expertise.

5/12/2014

I have nothing but good things to say about Dr.Evans and his staff.

5/12/2014

I just warn people about the wait time.

4/29/2014

Dr. Evans is extremely knowledgeable in treating IC and Hunners Ulcers. He takes time to listen to your concerns and gives you options available for treatment. He asks questions to give you the best possible treatment. He is worth waiting for because I know he is spending time with his other patients just like he does with me. He also takes time to answer questions my husband has regarding my illness. I travel 3 hours one way to see him as their are no urologists in the Asheville area that fully understand IC and how to treat it. I spent two years trying to find a doctor to treat my IC many how were not kind or understanding or knew the proper treatment. At my first appointment with Dr. Evans two years ago, he knew exactly how to treat the Hunners Ulcers and with his help I no longer am in excruciating pain. He also is on top of research that is going on in the field of IC.

4/25/2014

*Dr. Evans is the best!! I would wait all day to see him... he saved my life... he gave me joy and tools to live, really live with IC!! He is a BLESSING!

4/21/2014

Good

4/5/2014

Dr. Evans is a wonderful and caring doctor. I feel very fortunate to have a friend that recommended him. I will continue to be treated by Dr. Evans. The wait time is extremely long, but Dr. Evans is worth the wait.

4/4/2014

Always takes my concerns to heart.

3/31/2014

This was the best experience with a doctor in my life (I am 72).

3/27/2014

I hope *Dr. Evans will remain in this practice for a LONG TIME! Excellent provider! Tries every thing he can to take care of my problems. Explains the problems & treatments thoroughly. He very patiently understands my other medical problems & considers them when treating -

3/16/2014

Our family thinks very highly of Dr. Evans and the care that he gives our daughter. Although some of the wait times have been terribly long(the longest was over 2 hours), we know that having him as her physician is worth the long wait. The last few visits we have not waited more than 1/2 hour. He is always professional, explains treatments, medications, and information in easy to understand terms, and is always caring and sympathetic to our daughter's and our concerns and questions. We regard his opinions about her care and treatment very highly. We drive about 2 hours from our home just to have him for our daughter's medical care of her disease. He is very likable and easy to get along with. He is always very current with his medical advice on interstitial cystitis but also knows the value of certain medications that have been proven to be most effective over the years. He is always willing to change treatment to get the best results for our daughter.

3/5/2014

Just the wait time was way too long for my visit. Other than that I like my provider.
