Question: What brought you to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center?
Answer: I'm originally from Stuart, Virginia, a small town that's about 45 minutes north of Winston. My husband and I met while in school at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, and we decided to look around both of our hometowns when we were choosing where to do our residencies. We fell in love with the area and, more importantly, the people here at Wake Forest Baptist.
Q: What are your clinical specialties?
A: My specialties are procedural medicine, family medicine, adolescent medicine, newborn medicine, women's health, adult and child care, and pediatrics.
Q: What do you enjoy most about working with patients?
A: I love seeing the same patients, especially families, over time. I enjoy getting to know them and being a part of their health care.
Q: What fun facts should we know about you?
A: I garden and have an impressive vegetable and spice garden this year! I also make jewelry, run and bike. However, most of my time away from work is spent with my wonderful husband, Andrew, and our new baby boy, Matthew.
