Provider was not personable.
After I waited for 60 minutes, this provider spent 5 minutes with me. Did not address concerns I had about a question I presented. Was distracted during the whole 5 minutes, gave me a printed hand-out and politely dismissed me.
He is the best kidney doctor that anyone could ever have. He has saved my sisters kidney & his life. Proud of him.
We appreciate & VERY thankful for *Dr. "G."
took time to speak with daughter on the phone!
loved Dr G!
This was the poorest patient experience I have ever had with strong concerns with the need to remain with this provider. In fact joke with staff after event that provider trying to "get me back" after the way he treated me during visit. Also note that my appointment was cancelled 2 times due to personal commitments of the provider for Christmas time and again with 2nd appointment. Therefore delay from the original appt need by around 6 months. Then began the appointment with him reprimanding me when in fact I had called to verify need for testing and had acted in compliance with his care-teams instructions. His response was that "I was wrong"! No matter how great of an expert one might be if their level of superiority over patients fails to allow them to meet the patient's needs, then this reflects very poorly on the institution that allows this behavior.
The Dr. who is the surgeon who operated on me, did not go and talk to my wife about the outcome of the surgery, it was a nurse who asked and assumed that the surgeon did come and talk to my wife post-op- and my wife said no- no one came to talk to me about the outcome of the surgery at all- so it was the nurse who called the surgeon to come talk to my wife. He did come very briefly- talked directly to me, and did not acknowledge my wife or talk to her at all.
I thin Dr. Gutierrez has an outstanding comfortable manner and gives full confidence in his command of his field.
He is without a doubt the BEST!!!
Amazing health care team
Great Experience and everyone was very professional
Care was primarily delivered by a resident with modest involvement of an attending physician; attending offered a plan of care, we did not construct one together, but the treatment plan was acceptable and a follow up plan was also crafted, and this was satisfactory to me. When possible, I would encourage more negotiation of treatment plans bw resident and attending in front of the patient so greater transparency exists; the attending's high level expertise in the condition I experienced was apparent
