I not only recommend others to him, I beg them to go and let him at least try to help them or put them in touch with a team that can.

10/3/2016

Previous comments apply. I have great faith in Dr. Koch's ability to treat me, and to truly care about helping me get better.

9/26/2016

Dr. Koch utilizes a diagram of the body as he explains my physical problems and addresses each one in detail.

9/22/2016

Dr. Koch and Paula, his PA, were both very intelligent and well informed. They both spent ample time with me, and I feel like I am in very good hands.

9/21/2016

*Dr. Koch is the best!

9/20/2016

Fantastic doctor

9/20/2016

Excellent doctor! I am very fortunate to have him as my GI doctor. He explains things very well and is always kind & smiling.

9/6/2016

awesome as always !!!!!

9/5/2016

dr Koch is the best!!

8/31/2016

Dr. seemed to be rushed; however felt more time could have been spent-- very short visit that could have been a telephone review. At least he was friendly and saw me, This is a more on going problem than I realized it would be. Apparently this will continue to be recurring and not cured.

8/20/2016

I would recommend Dr. Koch to any of my family and friends. He is a very professional, Caring, Dr.

8/16/2016

Service and results this good, it's worth the drive from Charlotte.

8/1/2016

*Dr. Koch spent less than 5 min. with me. *Paula came in first to talk. Then she got *Dr. Koch. 5 min. later I was leaving. He never even looked me in the eyes!!!

7/31/2016

I have always heard what great bedside manner Dr. Koche has and it is true! He also has reputation of truly caring about his patients and spending lots of time during appointments talking with his patients - it is so true!

7/28/2016

*Dr. Koch is a wonderful doctor.

7/23/2016

I feel fortunate to have a knowledgeable medical team assisting me to enjoy my best quality of life and to help me manage a complex illness. Dr. Koch possesses the advanced skills, resources and knowledge of this disease. He is a good listener, and because of his advanced skill set, provides relevant advice and care.

7/20/2016

Dr. Koch usually spends a lot of time with you. This is the first appointment that I have had with him where he seemed to rush through the appointment and seemed to be edging closer and closer to the door. He's a phenomenal provider, but I think this was just probably an off-day for the clinic.

7/13/2016

It was a bit disconcerting to have a fellow come in before Dr. Koch, since we had waited such a long time to see him but that doctor did a good job. Dr. Koch was very behind schedule and it would have been nice to have him in a less rushed state of mind.

6/6/2016

Dr Koch is an excellent doctor!

6/1/2016

I am sure Dr. Koch is very knowledgeable but he completely disregarded my medical records and in fact questioned both the competence of my previous doctor and the diagnosis of the doctor who had identified the problem for which I was seeing him. He seemed more interested in impressing the attending resident who was there than in paying ANY attention to me. All in all, he did not seem interested in me, or my medical condition. I am not sure I am going to continue with him as I don't want to spend money on more tests only to have him continue to blow me off. My condition is unusual and my doctor back home could not figure it out, which is why I came to Wake Health. But instead, Dr. Koch treated me as if my home doctor and I were just making this up.

5/20/2016

Knowing how busy Dr. Koch is, I was very pleased that he did not rush me through his office. He took a lot of time to be sure I understood what was going on in my body and options open to help.

5/12/2016

Dr Koch was exceptional. He truly listened and cared. He took time to meet with me a second time even though it was not his clinic day. I really appreciate the time and care he took with me.

5/11/2016

I have recommended several people to this doctor because I like him so much.

5/3/2016

I would recommend them to anyone and have.

4/26/2016

Dr. Koch is very professional, knowledgeable and a good communicator. He's tops in his profession!

4/26/2016

Dr. Koch is one of the best providers I have ever had. In fact, I travel about 2 hours each time to see Dr. Koch specifically even though I live in the RTP area with many hospitals around here. Given my particular set of GI problems, Dr. Koch and his staff are some of the most compassionate people I have met. Although wait times are long and it is difficult to get appointments at times, it is because Dr. Koch does not cut any corners. He provides exceptional care to his patients and defines what it means to be a healer in medicine. He always knows your medical history and listens to you [something that most people don't do when it comes to GI problems]. The staff at the Digestive Health Center also embody the spirit of Dr. Koch and treat their patients with care and compassion. From Molly and Janet at the front desk to Paula to Dr. Koch, the entire team works to provide amazing care. Trust me, no one makes 2 hour journeys and waits were it not for such an exceptional team. Thanks Dr. K! :)

4/18/2016

I would recommend him and Paula to anyone that needs a GI specialist.

4/1/2016

It was a very good experience.

3/29/2016

*Dr. Koch was the first provider to actually listen to my symptoms and not treat me like I didn't make sense. That alone greatly increased my trust and confidence in him.

2/23/2016

Many, many questions were asked. Very thorough and aspirated to be concerned and thinking "outside the box"

2/23/2016

Great Care!

2/12/2016

*Dr. Koch took care of problems I've had for 1 1/2 yrs.

2/9/2016

He's smart, but doesn't always know your history even though I've been seeing him over a year.

1/27/2016

The first visit with this provider was very optimistic and he assured me, he would not stop until he found a diagnosis. This visit, was a huge let down. He acted like he had never seen me before. He prescribed medication I was already taking. He offered no help whatsoever and wanted me to schedule another appointment for May 2016. I am still suffering and am trying to figure out who can help me. He seemed rushed. Despite reviewing all the prior test results, he acted like he did not know what to do. He did not listen to my severe symptoms. I'm learning more about a possible diagnosis from the internet.

1/9/2016

The first time I had a visit I was really happy with him and this last time I felt like he didn't know all of my health and didn't answer questions I had. Was very disappointed and came home feeling deflated and let down.
