Dr Koch is an excellent doctor!

I am sure Dr. Koch is very knowledgeable but he completely disregarded my medical records and in fact questioned both the competence of my previous doctor and the diagnosis of the doctor who had identified the problem for which I was seeing him. He seemed more interested in impressing the attending resident who was there than in paying ANY attention to me. All in all, he did not seem interested in me, or my medical condition. I am not sure I am going to continue with him as I don't want to spend money on more tests only to have him continue to blow me off. My condition is unusual and my doctor back home could not figure it out, which is why I came to Wake Health. But instead, Dr. Koch treated me as if my home doctor and I were just making this up.

Knowing how busy Dr. Koch is, I was very pleased that he did not rush me through his office. He took a lot of time to be sure I understood what was going on in my body and options open to help.

Dr Koch was exceptional. He truly listened and cared. He took time to meet with me a second time even though it was not his clinic day. I really appreciate the time and care he took with me.

I have recommended several people to this doctor because I like him so much.

I would recommend them to anyone and have.

Dr. Koch is very professional, knowledgeable and a good communicator. He's tops in his profession!

Dr. Koch is one of the best providers I have ever had. In fact, I travel about 2 hours each time to see Dr. Koch specifically even though I live in the RTP area with many hospitals around here. Given my particular set of GI problems, Dr. Koch and his staff are some of the most compassionate people I have met. Although wait times are long and it is difficult to get appointments at times, it is because Dr. Koch does not cut any corners. He provides exceptional care to his patients and defines what it means to be a healer in medicine. He always knows your medical history and listens to you [something that most people don't do when it comes to GI problems]. The staff at the Digestive Health Center also embody the spirit of Dr. Koch and treat their patients with care and compassion. From Molly and Janet at the front desk to Paula to Dr. Koch, the entire team works to provide amazing care. Trust me, no one makes 2 hour journeys and waits were it not for such an exceptional team. Thanks Dr. K! :)

I would recommend him and Paula to anyone that needs a GI specialist.

It was a very good experience.

*Dr. Koch was the first provider to actually listen to my symptoms and not treat me like I didn't make sense. That alone greatly increased my trust and confidence in him.

Many, many questions were asked. Very thorough and aspirated to be concerned and thinking "outside the box"

Great Care!

*Dr. Koch took care of problems I've had for 1 1/2 yrs.

He's smart, but doesn't always know your history even though I've been seeing him over a year.

The first visit with this provider was very optimistic and he assured me, he would not stop until he found a diagnosis. This visit, was a huge let down. He acted like he had never seen me before. He prescribed medication I was already taking. He offered no help whatsoever and wanted me to schedule another appointment for May 2016. I am still suffering and am trying to figure out who can help me. He seemed rushed. Despite reviewing all the prior test results, he acted like he did not know what to do. He did not listen to my severe symptoms. I'm learning more about a possible diagnosis from the internet.

The first time I had a visit I was really happy with him and this last time I felt like he didn't know all of my health and didn't answer questions I had. Was very disappointed and came home feeling deflated and let down.

*Dr. Koch is the best.

*Dr. Koch and his staff are the best. Not only excellent care but very concerned - dr. even called my home.

We had 3 different groups of doctors from Winston-Salem & *Dr. Koch is the best & knows a lot more than they did!

Having had years of suffering, Dr Koch has helped me so much....He had his finger on the problem in the beginning and I had worked through many Gastro Drs before I came to him. What a wonder he is. Sometimes you don't know just how bad things are and you feel until the are rectified and you feel so wonderful. This is what Dr Koch did for me.

I appreciate *Dr. Koch's drawing. Makes his explanations visual.

*Dr. Kodi is an excellent doctor. He explains things well and always helps with my stomach issues. worth the wait and super nice!

There was a 2-hour delay, so he was obviously behind and trying to rush. Therefore, he came off as rude and somewhat condescending.

He has truly blessed my life!!

Excellence all the way!

Dr. Koch saved my life. My condition was extremely debilitating. What more can I say? He understands my issues and has excellent advice that has allowed me to carry on with my life again

I have great confidence in this care provider

Dr. Koch and Paula seemed concerned about my care, problems I listed on a sheet, and gave clear explanations of what to do next. Paula pulled up on the computer Ensure Clear as a new drink to try. They both stated I needed to reduce the large volume of water, 52 - 64 oz., I drink daily because it's to heavy on my stomach and go 50% water and 50% of other liquids such as Ensure Clear, G2 Gator Aid, and Power Aid.

best doctor I've ever seen!

Great doctor, great PA-C. Very knowledgeable.
