Question: What brought you to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center?

Answer: I was born in western NC and wanted to come to Wake Forest Baptist because it has always had a strong reputation for quality care.

Q: What are your clinical specialties?

A: My specialties are general internal medicine, primary care and preventive care.

Q: What is your patient care philosophy?

A: I have an emphasis on patient-centered care. It's important to know as much as I can about my patients' lives as I do about their medical condition.

Q: What do you enjoy most about working with patients?

A: I really enjoy working with a diverse group of interesting people.

Q: What type of volunteer and community activities are you involved in?

A: I am the medical director for the DEAC (Delivering Equal Access to Care) Clinic. This is a free health clinic run by Wake Forest School of Medicine students on Wednesday nights. The DEAC Clinic is a partner with the Community Care Center and is located within the same facility (2135 New Walkertown Road).
