I changed from my previous ENT physician because he saw me as a Meniere's dz - Dr. May sees me as a person whose life is affected by MD and who needs help to accommodate to this dz.
*Dr. May is excellent well worth the 3-1/2 hours drive!
I seen Dr May years ago and he was a very good doctor. After tears of not needing to see Dr May my general practioner sent me to another ENT for a problem I had (biggest mistake I think I ever made.) Recently I developed problems with my hearing and they tried to send me back to the other ENT and I refused, I told them I wanted to return to Dr May (best decision I have made in some time). After this one visit with Dr May I am hearing things I haven't heard in many years. He is amazing and I truly appreciate him more then he will probably ever know.
Dr. May is a talented physician. I feel like I'm getting excellent care.
I would never want to see anyone but Dr. May.
Top of the line

I cannot say enough good things about Dr May. He has treated me since the early 2000's. Dr May has always been very thorough and attentive to me. I drive from Asheboro to see him yearly. He has a wonderful bed-side manner. Best. Doctor. Ever.
Dr. May is a top notch physician in his field, we are lucky to have him. I am 100% indebted to him for the excellent health I am in today.
*Dr. May is knowledgeable about his work, friendly and concerned.
Best doctor, best offfice staff. I know these surveys help doctor and hospital but I go every two months now to get left ear cleaned so I can hear some things. No new problems, no questions asked. Just have a very pleasant visit with a special doctor. I am one of the old employees from the 40's and we sometimes talk about the good old days. Have been with him over 20 years. All doctors should be like Dr. May.
Always have a wonderful visit. Very caring and concerned man.
Excellent care -
Dr. John May is a superb clinician.
As stated earlier, I was there for a follow up appointment. The surgery Dr. May did earlier was successful and there was no follow up treatment or medicine.
