Question: What brought you to Wake Forest Baptist?
Answer: My family and I moved to Winston-Salem in June 2010. I joined Lewisville Family Physicians because of the great “small town” feel in the office. I really have enjoyed working with this team of caring health providers.
Q: What are your clinical specialties?
A: I treat all patients, from birth to death, with whatever issues they may have. My areas of special interest are pediatrics and preventive health care.
Q: What is your patient care philosophy?
A: Patient education is key to successful treatment, so I try to always make time to teach patients about their diagnosis and treatment options. I also review the course of their care and how they can best manage their health problems.
Q: What do you enjoy most about working with patients?
A: I really enjoy the “family” aspect of family medicine, the privilege of treating an entire family in one location. Not only is this convenient for the family, but it also enhances everyone’s care when the physician is familiar with all the members of the family.
Q: What type of volunteer and/or community activities are you involved in?
A: I am involved with the PTA in my children’s school.
Q: What fun facts should we know about you?
A: I have four children ages 8, 6, 5 and 2. My husband (Benjamin N. Morris, MD) is a physician in Anesthesiology and Critical Care at Wake Forest Baptist. In my free time I enjoy running, gardening and travel.

Dr. Morris spent a lot of time with me explaining my healthcare needs. She was thorough and professional and made me feel comfortable with the plan she was recommending.
Very understanding and attentive to my concerns
Totally pleased. Want to keep this provider!!!
I don't have confidence that she will help me if I have something serious going on. I have problems getting to see her when I'm sick and need to be seen that day.
This was the first time in a long time I've felt that anyone was listening to me. I left feeling that I would be able to get through the challenges I'm facing. Dr. Morris was incredibly helpful.
I always recommend this practice.. They are superior.
Dr. Morris and her staff provide a safe, quiet and respectful place and experience. She has my full confidence.
Dr. Morris is very knowledgeable. She is compassionate, and displays a genuine concern for me.
it's all been a very good experience
I have been a patient of Dr. Angela Morris for the past 4 years. She has always treated me with respect and concern for my overall health. This past visit Dr. Morris treated her computer more respect than she treated me as a patient. Her focus and time was spent interacting with the medical record / computer than with me, the patient. Her lack of concern was exemplified by the lack of greeting (not even a hello) and her lack of concern for any questions that I may have was alarming. What physician completes an annual physical exam without having the patient change into a gown? What physician completes an annual physical exam without asking their patient how they are? How their health is? Dr. Morris came into the room with a direct path to her computer. She typed the entire visit and asked the questions needed to satisfy the electronic medical record. She stated she was referring me for a colonoscopy but never once did she discuss my feelings and my desires regarding the test. She did not, even once, ask how I had been, how I felt or what issues I would like to discuss. I have no plans to return again, nor will I recommend her to anyone for care.
*Dr. Morris is very helpful, listens to my problems.
Dr. Morris is great. She is easy to talk with, addresses my concerns, and stays on time.
