Question: What brought you to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center?

Answer: Both my husband and I are natives of Winston-Salem, and we love our local community. I enjoyed attending medical school and completing my residency training at Wake Forest Baptist and now have put down roots here. I plan to stay in Winston-Salem for the long haul – I love this town.

Q: What are your clinical specialties?

A: I am a family medicine doctor by training, but I have a special interest in women’s health, adolescent medicine and pediatrics. I also enjoy performing minor office procedures.

Q: Why did you decide to become a primary care doctor?

A: I wanted to help people and develop lifelong relationships with my patients and their families.

Q: What is your patient care philosophy?

A: My goal of care is to become a partner in wellness for my patients, helping them to become happier, healthier individuals and families.

Q: What do you enjoy most about working with patients?

A: I enjoy developing relationships with my patients and working as a team member in making their medical care decisions.

Q: What type of volunteer and/or community activities are you involved in?

A: I am involved in the Winston-Salem Adult Soccer League.

Q: What fun facts should we know about you?

A: I enjoy reading, spending time with my family and staying active.
