Dr. Savage has been my care provider for metastatic melanoma since 2003. If I were not entirely satisfied with the kind of care he gives and the concern he shows, I would have changed providers before now.
Good Dr., takes time to explain things.
dr. Savage is very thorough and explaining very patient and understanding
*Dr. Savage is WONDERFUL!
I know this is about Dr. Savage, but his fellow Dr. Lycan is a very thorough provider as well. He really seems to care about his patient. He is quite precise and explains medical matters to you in terms that you will understand. He is very earnest and you can tell he wants to do things correctly the first time. I have been very impressed with this team, their sense of urgency, and efficiency regarding my condition.
He was very patient, caring, clear and thorough. I felt educated about CT scans and how they are used, and that I may not want as many to be done on a regular basis. he explained the X-ray exposure versus a chest x-ray. In the future I would do well to let the experts in each field interpet findings.
All were very helpful.
We are very involved in our Dad's care. We are made to feel like we should not be asking questions. Last time answers were given to us in harsh & loud voice. We just quit asking.
Very professional, very personable just a great doctor.
It was not a bad experience.
I have lots of confidence in Dr Savage. I feel very fortunate that he is the physician who oversees my oncology care!
In my 20 years of seeing *Dr. Lavage there has never been a negative visit.
I feel fortunate to have been referred to *Dr. Savage for care. Thankful he is at the Wake Forest Medical Ctr. as this is more convenient than having to go further. Being out of state, I must travel quite a distance. *Melissa _______, P.C., of this office is excellent.
Never saw the provider. Two hour drive to clinic. Hour & half wait and was told go set up 6 month appointment.
*Dr.Savage is a very knowledgeable experienced doctor and most professional with excellent knowledge of his profession. The last APPOINTMENT WAS a SIX MONTH FOLLOW UP FUTURE APPOINTMENT is SCHEDULE for 1 YEAR.
Dr. Savage is a true Mensch :-)
I consider myself very fortunate to have Dr. Savage as my oncologist. He has treated me in this capacity since 2003, so I have had many opportunities to observe his impeccable manner with me as a patient, his ability to explain complicated cancer illnesses and treatments in a straightforward and understandable way, and his genuine concern for the welfare of his patients.
