Question: What brought you to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center?
Answer: I thoroughly enjoy working at a large tertiary care academic medical center, and Wake Forest Baptist in particular has a reputation for excellent academics in a collegial atmosphere. I love the clinical, educational and administrative opportunities that this institution provides. Furthermore, my family and I really like living in North Carolina.
Q: What are your clinical specialties?
A: My specialties are preventive medicine, primary care and general internal medicine.
Q: What is your patient care philosophy?
A: I try to engage my patients in a collaborative effort to maximize their health and wellness.
Q: What do you enjoy most about working with patients?
A: I am very fortunate to be able to meet a wide variety of people from very diverse backgrounds. Being able to guide them to better health is very satisfying as well.
Q: What type of volunteer or community activities are you involved in?
A: I routinely volunteer in the DEAC (Delivering Equal Access to Care) Clinic, a medical student-run clinic for our underserved population, and enjoy teaching medical students and residents. I'm also an active member of Redeemer Presbyterian Church. In addition, I recently coached my little girl's soccer team and look forward to coaching more teams in the future.
Q: What fun facts should we know about you?
A: I have a beautiful wife and three incredible children. I'm also an avid UGA fan - Go Dawgs!
