Extremely please with Dr. Tuohy. Couldn't ask for a better provider

do not think he believes me about my arm pain, does not really want to talk about it."it should not hurt" feel like his ears are closed about it

Dr Touy was excellent in his care, skill and description of what to expect and how to manage my recovery. Highly recommend him to others.

very professional

excellent doctor and staff

awesome doctor and nurse

Dr Tuohy is kind and gentle (well as gentle as an orthopaedic can be pushing and pulling). Dr Tuohy was very sensitive to Nancy's need and her progress after shoulder surgery. He was a great help in a long range plan to help Nancy continue therapy to strengthen her overall health condition.

I have been a patient of Dr. Tuohy's with several issues over the last 5 years, and I believe I have received the best of care as he is an excellent, and very caring Orthopedic Surgeon.

Dr. Tuohy was recommended to me when I wanted to a second opinion for an elbow injury, so grateful I did as he said no surgery and suggested rehab my elbow.

Dr. Tuohy is one of the most knowledgeable & pragmatic doctors I have encountered.

excellent care provider

Dr Tuohy walked us through the entire operation. Concerning what he showed us, it was an absolute miracle. Plus Nancy experienced difficulties after the operation and we ended up back at WFU in Ardmore 10 and Dr Tuohy got my call and showed up in the room to see Nancy - totally unexpected. In the hall of our church, Dr Tuohy's name is spoken with great reverence because of all the successful shoulder operations performed on our friends at Reynolda.

Went over all options with me.

Dr. Tuohy is an excellent Dr. I would recommend him in a heartbeat!Kind and Caring! Excellent bedside manner! Which most Dr's don't have!Genuinely interested in his patients well being! I would give him an excellent recommendation!

Dr. Touhy is outstanding physician, person & man. He is blessed to have excellent skills & knowledge. Treat him well.

Dr. Tuohy is an excellent surgeon, and has always taken good care of me. He really seems to care about me, my issues, and concerns.

*Dr. Tuohy has helped me so much.

In my eyes, there is nobody better than Dr. Tuohy. I trust him to be honest with me, and I know that whatever care he suggests for me is what I need. He definitely is not a one-treatment-fits-all kind of doctor. He listens to me and responds with what we decide is best for me. I have recommended him to multiple folks.

Dr Touhy was extremely sensitive to Nancy's need. He was aware of all her challenges with surgery. H e was concerned about her pain, her range of motion, her quality of life. Dr Touhy was our second and final opinion and he was more on top of the options to repair Nancy's shoulder than the other orthopaedic, who had seen Nancy 4 times. Dr Touhy is head and shoulders (pum) above other orthopedics in NC.

I have recommended Dr Tuohy to not only my husband but a friend as well. Both are very pleased with him

Could not have been better!

I highly like and respect Dr. Touhy. I would highly recommend him to a friend in need of care.

Dr. Tuohy is a very good doctor. Would recommend him to others!

It was a very good experience.

very good visit.

Would absolutely KEEP this provider!Dr. is a "jewel" HE LISTENED and understood my frustrations! All I ask was for him to be HONEST about my condition and he was! He was the 5th Dr. I have been to. 2 in Asheville, 1 in Charlotte 2 at Winston Salem . Dr. Thomas Freehill had seen me, but I had to have some test, by the time I could make my appointment for surgery, he was leaving for Michigan and gave me a great referral to Dr. Tuohy. After 4 1/2 yrs. I hurt no more!

*Dr. Tuohy is an excellent provider. He is very knowledgeable, kind and patient.

Excellent provider.

Came away feeling very good with the information given to me.

excellant doctor

Since my illness is quite severe it is most important that my providers treat me with dignity and respect and above all show a compassionate heart. I felt as though this provider lacked in this area and was a bit abrupt and not really wanting me to talk or to respect the knowledge I have as a critical nurse for over 40 yrs. I am sure he is an excellent surgeon, but since I am not a surgical candidate, he really needs to beef up his bedside manner. Right now, that means more to me than anything else

Dr Tuohy is a wonderful doctor. I have the utmost confidence in him!

*Dr. Tuohy is a great doctor! So glad I am his patient.

dr tuohy is great.

Dr. was very professional, courteousand understanding of my situation. made me feel confident! Felt very much at ease, even tho I have to have surgery! HE LISTENED TO ME!!!HE CARED!!! Do you know how important that is, when in pain and you can't find anyone that will LISTEN???
