Question: What brought you to Wake Forest Baptist?
Answer: I came to Wilkes Internal Medicine because I wanted to be close to my parents who live in Virginia and friends who live in the Winston-Salem area.
Q: What are your clinical specialties?
A: My clinical specialties are geriatric medicine, diabetes, women's health and preventive medicine.
Q: What is your patient care philosophy?
A: My philosophy is honesty. I will always be honest with my patients, even if I have to say something they may not want to hear. I also hope that my patients will be honest with me.
Q: What do you enjoy most about working with patients?
A: I enjoy growing with my patients, learning about their families, and developing long-term relationships with them.
Q: Are there fun facts we should know about you?
A: I'm married and have two children. When I'm not in the office, I like to hike with my family and practice target shooting.
