Question: What brought you to Wake Forest Baptist?
Answer: I grew up in High Point and went to medical school here. My wife also grew up here. It is kind of a homecoming for us.
Q: What are your clinical specialties?
A: My specialty is internal medicine, which means I help adults with any treatment and prevention of their acute and chronic medical problems.
Q: What is your patient care philosophy?
A: I focus on patients' symptoms and the aspects of care that may have a significant impact on the rest of their lives. I also try to avoid asking people to do something if I don't have a strong feeling that it will help them.
Q: What do you enjoy most about working with patients?
A: I enjoy the various personalities that I encounter every day.
Q: What type of volunteer and/or community activities are you involved in?
A: My family and I just moved to town, so I'm starting to get involved in community activities again. I used to volunteer with Hospice here in Winston-Salem.
Q: Are there fun facts we should know about you?
A: My wife and I have a little girl, Ada, who is five-months old.
