Appointments

To make an appointment, please call The Family Medicine Center at 336-716-4479. When you call, be prepared to give your physician’s name, your birth date and your insurance information. Knowing the reason for you visit will allow the operators to properly schedule your appointment.

Hours of Operation

Monday–Friday, 8 am–5 pm
Saturday (for established patient), 9 am–noon

Individual providers are not available every day for patient appointments because of their teaching and research responsibilities. If you have an illness or injury that cannot wait until your provider is available, arrangements will be made for you to be seen by another physician at the Family Medicine Center.

Some of our providers are Family Medicine residents and Physicians Assistants who have faculty members immediately available on-site to supervise your care. In keeping with the educational mission of our institution, occasionally a medical student may see you before your physician comes in the room. 

Cancellations and Missed Appointments

When unexpected circumstances will not allow you to keep a scheduled appointment, please call us to cancel as soon as possible.

If you miss an appointment without calling us to cancel it, we are unable to serve another patient at that time, which makes it difficult for us to provide our patients with the medical care they deserve. 

Repeatedly missing appointments can also make it difficult for us to continue providing the care you deserve.
