Acute Care Surgery (Trauma, Burns, Critical Care and Emergency General Surgery)

Patients with injury or surgical problems requiring immediate intervention are cared for by the Acute Care Surgery team. Acute Care Surgery manages problems related to Trauma, Surgical Critical Care, Burns, and Emergency General Surgery.  

Drs. Michael C. Chang, Preston R. Miller, J. Jason Hoth, James H. Holmes, Nathan T. Mowery, Amy N. Hildreth, R. Shayn Martin, and J . Wayne Meredith are board certified in both General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care thus providing comprehensive care of the acutely injured or ill patient.
