Dr. Greg Waters is a fellowship trained Colon and Rectal Surgeon. He is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgery.

Dr. Waters is an Associate Professor of Surgery in the department of General Surgery at Wake Forest Baptist Health. He received his M.D. degree from East Carolina University in 1990. He completed a general surgery residency at the Medical College of Georgia and a colon and rectal surgery fellowship at Mayo Clinic.

His clinical interests include minimally invasive approaches to colorectal cancer management, Transanal Endoscopic Microsurgery, Inflammatory Bowel disease, benign anorectal diseases (hemorrhoids, anal fissure and fistula), Diverticular Disease.

His research interests include Crohns disease.

Bohl Jaime LJaime L. Bohl, MD

Dr. Jaime Bohl is a fellowship trained Colon and Rectal Surgeon. She is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery. She is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgery, American College of Surgeons, and the Collaborative Group of the Americas on Inherited Colorectal Cancer.

Dr. Bohl is an Assistant Professor of Surgery in the department of general surgery at Wake Forest Baptist Health. She received her M.D. degree from the University of Virginia in 2003. She completed a general surgery residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and a fellowship in colon and rectal surgery at Lahey Clinic.

Her clinical interests include minimally invasive surgical approaches including laparoscopy and robotics, diagnostic and therapeutic colonoscopy, transanal endoscopic microsurgery, and sphincter sparing rectal cancer surgery.

Her research interests include hereditary colon and rectal cancer syndromes and translational science approaches to the treatment of fecal incontinence
