Our Comprehensive Cancer Center
Building the Future of Cancer Care
Wake Forest Baptist has created the largest cancer center of its kind in the region so that we can continue providing our patients and their families with the remarkable care and support they deserve and producing the groundbreaking research that leads to new treatments and therapies.
The six-story addition to our Comprehensive Cancer Center, completed in late 2013, consolidates both inpatient and outpatient services into a single location.
- 148 inpatient beds
- 44 observation beds
- 530,600 total square feet
- Private rooms throughout
- Enhancements designed to use natural light and accommodate families
- A healing garden/courtyard in the center of the upper floors, offering patients and families a peaceful environment
Cancer survivors and doctors, researchers and staff at the Cancer Center discuss how they view its role in the story—and the future—of cancer.
Dr. Boris Pasche, director of the Comprehensive Cancer Center, understands all too well the impact cancer can have and, for him, the fight against it is personal. Wake Forest Baptist's commitment to the Center, to clinical excellence and to compassionate care played a role in bringing him here.
Our commitment to unsurpassed patient care and leading research continues beyond our expansion effort; so, too, does the need to support the people and programs provided through the Cancer Center.
Options for supporting the Comprehensive Cancer Center include various naming opportunities.
