Job Description
Generalist in Obstetrics and Gynecology
The successful candidate will work independently and in a collaborative practice with other faculty in the Ob/Gyn division.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- MD degree
- Ob/Gyn Residency
- North Carolina licensure or eligible
- Interest in clinical trials and research
- Interest in academic setting
Essential functions include: Obstetric and gynecologic patient care including surgical intervention, electronic medical record documentation, and direct inpatient and outpatient care. The Generalist will teach medical students and residents in the ambulatory and inpatient settings through didactic, bedside, and surgical teaching. He or she will also manage patients involved in clinical trials and should have an interest in clinical research.
