The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: MD; Experience and keen interest in Diabetes research; Successful record of clinical excellence, research experience with evidence of independent funding; a strong interest in graduate medical education; Eligibility for rank at the Associate Professor level; North Carolina licensure or eligible; Responsibilities will include inpatient and outpatient care, along with teaching medical students and residents.
