Job Description
We are seeking to expand and looking for an exceptional BC/BE Pediatric Neurologist to join us in our Mission to Care, Mission to Cure at Wake Forest Baptist Health. This is an open-rank, faculty opportunity with the ideal candidate possessing the following qualifications:
MD
Pediatric Neurology Residency
BC/BE by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
Successful record of clinical excellence; research experience with evidence of independent funding; leadership; a strong interest in graduate medical education
North Carolina licensure or eligible
Rank commensurate with credentials and experience
ABN certified or eligible.
Responsibilities will focus heavily on outpatient clinic activities but will include some include inpatient care as well as including interpreting an diagnostic tests (EEG, EMU), limited clinical trials research, and teaching our four clinical neurophysiology fellows, medical students, and residents during rounds or in resident continuity clinics. The outpatient clinical distribution is projected at 90% general neurology focused and 10% for issues like pediatric headaches as well as reserved time for urgent appointments.
