We are seeking a board certified Family Physician to join us in our Mission to Care, Mission to Cure at Wake Forest School of Medicine. This is a full time faculty opportunity with the ideal candidate possessing the following qualifications
Graduate of a Family Medicine Residency
Prior residency teaching/academic experience preferred, but not required
Expertise and strong interest in obstetrical care and teaching
Successful record of clinical and service excellence as well as interest in graduate medical education
North Carolina licensure or eligible
The successful candidate will be instrumental in providing obstetrical and general residency curricular leadership to a thriving and successful Family Medicine Residency program. The position involves 50 to 60% patient care time (full spectrum of outpatient practice including periodic hospital and OB attending), 20% devoted to precepting (students, residents, fellows) and the balance spent in residency administration and scholarly activities. Some of the patient care time will involve teaching of students, residents and fellows. The successful candidate would join four other full time faculty providing obstetrical care and education.
