The Wake Forest School of Medicine '' Section on Pulmonary is seeking a faculty member who is board certified/eligible by the American Board of Allergy & Immunology. In providing clinical services to both adults and children, the faculty member will assume attending responsibility both for assigned outpatient clinics, and inpatient settings including the provision of inpatient consultative services. These clinical activities will include diagnosis and management of a broad range of allergic diseases, asthma and immunologic disorders. The faculty member will also be expected to perform or supervise the performance of specialty procedures including but not limited to skin testing, spirometry, drug desensitization, drug and food challenges, administration of immunoglobulin and biologic modifiers. Faculty are also expected to consistently contribute to the ongoing activities of the Allergy & Immunology subsection of the Section on Pulmonary, Critical Care, Allergy and Immunologic Diseases including its education, research and administrative missions.
