We are seeking an exceptional, Board Eligible or Board Certified career Hospitalists to join our expanding team in our Mission to Care, Mission to Cure at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. This is a faculty position at Wake Forest University School of Medicine at the Assistant Professor level with an excellent benefit package.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
-Three years of Internal Medicine Residency required
- North Carolina licensure or eligible
- Experience mentoring and developing junior faculty is a plus
The Section on Hospital Medicine provides comprehensive clinical services in the inpatient setting. Services include primary coverage and management of several general internal medicine inpatient and observation units, high quality co-management with orthopedic surgery, oncology, cardiology and general internal medicine consultation services. The hospital has a closed ICU. The faculty plays a large role in partnering with the Internal Medicine Residency Program providing oversight and teaching activities for several house staff-covered teaching teams/activities from the Wake Forest School of Medicine.
