The Clinical Systems Specialist applies his/her expert knowledge of application computing systems to the information technology needs of Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. The position requires an in-depth understanding of technology and the ability to apply that understanding to supporting existing systems and/or implementing new systems that directly benefit the patient-care, education, research and/or business functions of WFUBMC.
The position will provide on-site support of applications and computer hardware utilized in the Surgical Services clinical areas. Monitors application performance, network performance, oversees maintenance, provides system updates, and resolves application problems.
Requirements: Associate's Degree in Information Systems or Computer Science preferred. Three years of experience in computer support particularly in application administration and maintenance. Applicable application training and/or certifications. Able to communicate on a professional level with all Medical Center personnel and patients. Proven technical application skills.
