POST-DOCTORAL RESEARCH FELLOW, DEPARTMENT OF NEUROBIOLOGY AND ANATOMY
This position requires a scientist who holds a Ph.D. degree with experience in electrophysiological techniques such as patch-clamp and extracellular recording. This individual will aid in the study changes in neuronal electrical properties in response to changes in the external environment and signaling mechanisms underlying various forms of synaptic plasticity underlying long-term memory. This person is expected to carry out electrophysiological recordings on neuronal cells and collect data. This individual is also required to analyze the data and assist in preparation of manuscripts for publication in scientific journals.
Note: This position contains grant funding which may limit the duration of the job. Specific time frames vary based on the type and length of the grant and will be discussed during the interview.
