The Respiratory Department is seeking 3 PRN Therapists to provide respiratory care and diagnostic tests to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and older patients performing the duties of a Respiratory Care Practitioner. The work schedule for these individuals will be on an as need basis, in a fast paced environment. The candidates must be licensed by the North Carolina Respiratory Care Board and be a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
Maintains skill and knowledge pertinent to professional responsibilities.
? Participates in various continuing educational activities to enhance basic knowledge of respiratory care principles and practices.
? Share information from continuing education with other Respiratory Care staff.
Demonstration of cultural, societal, and age-specific.
? Realizes and responds appropriately to the physical, cultural, a
nd societal diversity of our patients, their family members, and visitors.
? Demonstrates support, understanding and provides the appropriate assistance to those who present in need.
? Reacts and responds appropriately to the pediatric, adolescent, adult and older adult patients, their family members, visitors and others of our community, as well as fellow hospital staff who may present in need.
Provides patient and family education.
?Communication and interaction with physicians and their staff.
Relays pertinent information to physicians on their patient's condition.
