Students

Welcome to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center!

Please read this page in its entirety. In order to shadow, observe or do clinical hours, you must have a departmental sponsor in the discipline you need. Contact the department of interest and see if they can support your educational requirements.  This sponsor will work with HR to coordinate your onboarding paperwork and will be responsible for you while you are with Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.

It is important that you complete all of the following information. Please allow two weeks to complete the onboarding process. It is important to complete and submit the documents to your sponsoring department as soon as possible. You will receive a confirmation email once you have met all of the following requirements clearing you to begin. You may not start unless you receive this confirmation email.

Requirements

The following will need to be completed before you begin your experience at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.

Requirements vary according to the level of Medical Center access (access to computer systems, patient care areas, etc.). Check with your department sponsor to determine specific requirements for your experience at the Medical Center.

*You will receive a link to the training once all other steps have been completed.
