Shadowing is allowed for one shift up to 12 hours. In order to shadow, observe or
do clinical hours, you must have a departmental sponsor in the discipline you
need. Contact the department of interest and see if they can support your
educational requirements. This
sponsor will work with HR to coordinate your onboarding paperwork and will be
responsible for you while you are with Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.
It is important that you complete
all of the following information. Please allow two weeks to complete the onboarding process. It is important to complete
and submit the documents to your sponsoring department as soon as possible. You
will receive a confirmation email once you have met all of the following
requirements clearing you to begin. You may not start unless you receive this

areas, etc.). Check with your department

Background Check/Drug Screening
If you need a company to conduct your background check and drug screening, you may contact Investigative Associates and Consultants at 336-768-7040 or www.iacinvestigations.com. Please inform them that you will need your information released to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.
If your background check and drug screening are completed by a different company, each completed form should be scanned and sent by email to Contingentworkforce@wakehealth.edu or by fax to 336-716-5656.
The student is responsible for the cost of the background
check and drug screening.
