Health Administration
Welcome! If you are pursuing a career in health administration, we believe there is no better place to learn and work than Wake Forest Baptist Health.
Administrative Fellowship
The Administrative Fellowship is for individuals who have completed graduate-level training in health administration. Applicants must have graduated from a Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Managment Education (CAHME) or a Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) accredited program. Please review the CAHME and AACSB websites for a full list of these programs. The Fellowship is an intensive, year-long opportunity to learn and work in under the guidance of executive leadership. The purpose of the Administrative Fellowship is to bridge the gap between academic coursework in health administration and the practical application of leadership and managerial skills. We offer two tracks: Operations and Strategic Planning .
We encourage you to explore this website to learn more about the Administrative Fellowship at Wake Forest Baptist Health. If you have questions regarding any of this information, please Contact Us at your convenience. Applications for the Administrative Fellowship are due Friday September 30, 2011.
Additional Opportunities
If you are not eligible for the Administrative Fellowship and you are seeking an internship related to health administration, contact Allyson Komaschka, Manager of Workforce Planning and Development at akomasch@wakehealth.edu. We do not offer any health administration internship opportunities for non-students, high school students, or undergraduate freshmen/sophomores. Please consider volunteering.
