Dr. Schneider serves as an Associate Medical Director for Healthwise. Prior to working as an Associate Medical Director, Dr. Schneider served as Healthwise's Chief Medical Officer. Dr. Schneider co-founded the Idaho Wellness Center, an innovative family practice in Boise, Idaho, based on prevention, self-care, and self-responsibility. During his more than 25 years of practice at the Idaho Wellness Center, he partnered with patients to manage their health and medical decisions. Dr. Schneider is an expert on the concept of patients as partners and has spoken to both national and international conferences on the importance of building good patient–physician relationships.
