Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA)
The recommended dietary allowances (RDAs) are nutritional
guidelines established and periodically reviewed by the United States
government's Food and Nutrition Board (part of the National Academy of
Sciences). These recommendations suggest a healthy range for daily intake of
selected nutrients, calories, protein, and several vitamins and minerals.
