Concerns Of Police Survivors, Inc. (COPS)

National. 52 chapters. Founded 1984. Provides resources for the surviving families of law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty according to Federal criteria. Also offers law enforcement training. Quarterly newsletter, departmental guidelines and peer support. Provides annual national Police Survivors Conference each May during National Police Week. Special hands-on programs for survivors. Summer camp for children (ages 6-14) and their parent/guardian.
