After trying for 7 years, we finally decided to accept the news that we had received from 4 different doctors…we would not be able to conceive a child of our own. After countless tests, trials, procedures, and surgeries and what seemed like never-ending tears and heartbreak, we gave up our dream of having a child. We decided that it was time to move on with our lives. We felt as though we had exhausted our resources and that we needed to turn our bitterness and sadness into something more positive.
That’s when a dear friend called and begged to not give up hope and gave us Dr. Yalcinkaya’s information. We had decided to move on and accept our situation but this new information put a wrinkle in things. We certainly did not want to have regrets. Fully convinced we’d be unsuccessful, we contacted Dr. Yalcinkaya to rule out future “what ifs”. Three months later, I was pregnant with our baby boy.
After a high risk pregnancy due to complications completely unrelated to IVF, our tiny little miracle was born 12 weeks early at 2lbs. 10 oz. He’s incredible living proof, on all sides, of answered prayers and faith and amazing medical advancements. To this day, we are still in awe. A reminder to never give up hope.
We’re so very grateful to Drs. Yalcinkaya and Carrillo and their staff for the most precious gift that we could ever receive, our son, Will Madson Easterling.
