Sushma Singh, Ph.D Laboratory Supervisor

Sushma was born in Mumbai, India where she received her Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy in 1998. After having worked in research and development in India’s pharmaceutical industry Sushma moved to the US to pursue higher education. She received her Ph.D. from University of Louisiana at Monroe where she studied neural regulation of luteinizing hormone. In 2005 Sushma joined the laboratory of Dr. Robert L Goodman at West Virginia University to investigate the mechanisms of seasonal regulation of reproduction in the ovine species. Sushma’s career in human fertility began in 2007 when she accepted the position of Chief Embryologist at West Virginia University Center for Reproductive Medicine. She has several publications in peer-reviewed journals in endocrinology and neuroendocrinology.

Julie has over ten years of experience in all aspects of Assisted Reproductive Technology. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science from Western Carolina University, is certified as a Medical Technologist (ASCP) and as a Technical Supervisor in Andrology by the American Board of Bioanalysis.
