Participating Insurance Plans
Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center is comprised of North Carolina Baptist Hospital and Wake Forest University Physicians, consisting of over 550 clinical faculty from the medical school. The physician group operates outpatient clinics covering more than 100 medical specialties and serves as the attending staff of the hospital.
The Medical Center contracts with most major health plans including Health Maintenance Organizations (HMO) and Preferred Provider Organizations (PPO) for physician and clinic services. WFBMC also participates in Medicare and Medicaid government programs.
