Community Training Center

The Community Training Center is focused on helping others increase the rate of survival by providing ongoing education.

Life Support Education

The Department of Life Support Education offers basic and advanced resuscitation courses for hospital and school of medicine employees, as well as interested individuals in the community.

Coy C. Carpenter Library

The Coy C. Carpenter Library of Wake Forest School of Medicine offers a variety of health research resources to the public. The Library’s Patient Education page contains links to trusted health organizations, medical articles and patient information sites.

Clinical Trials

A clinical trial is a research study in which volunteers help medical researchers find new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat diseases. WFBMC conducts hundreds of these studies, allowing us to develop the latest medical knowledge.

Health Encyclopedia

Our Health Encyclopedia is an online source of comprehensive health articles with illustrations, videos and diagrams. Additional features include Discharge Instructions, Self-Care Instructions, and Questions for Your Doctor. The Health Encyclopedia also includes a section on nutrition and an index of poisons with poisoning symptoms and treatment options.
