Robin K. Meter, MHA
Mr. Meter is responsible for Wake Forest Baptist Health’s regional business expansion initiatives. By deploying various models of affiliation and acquisition, he drives the organization’s external strategic growth strategies. In addition, he oversees the clinical enterprise’s strategic planning efforts as well as serves a leadership role in organizational throughput and performance improvement initiatives. He also serves as a key non-physician executive for the organization’s physician enterprise.
Prior to his relationship with Wake Forest Baptist Health, Mr. Meter served as the Executive Director of University Physicians, the faculty practice for the University of Missouri School Of Medicine located in Columbia, Missouri. Before moving to Missouri, Mr. Meter served as the Senior Vice President for the Hunter Group (which was later purchased by Navigant Consulting), a major performance improvement/turn-around firm specializing in academic medical centers. In this role, he played a major role in major performance improvement and interim executive management projects for faculty practices at a number of major academic medical centers across the United States. Mr. Meter has also served in key administrative roles for Catholic Health Initiatives (formerly Sisters of Charity), the University of Nebraska Medical Center, the Nebraska State Department of Health, and Regional West Medical Center.
Mr. Meter completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Nebraska and his graduate degree in health administration at the University of Missouri. He and his wife and family reside in Clemmons, NC.
