North Tower Photographs

The North Tower is a fifteen story inpatient facility completed in 1989. It contains an operating rooms, adult intensive care units, and a coronary care unit. For details on North Tower and other Medical Center buildings, see our exhibit Footprints Over Time - a Building History of WFBMC.

 

This collection of photo panels were created by Creative Communications and were displayed in the main floor hallway of North Tower from the late 1980's until January 2009. The panels depicted persons, buildings, and events in the history of Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. The main floor of North Tower was renovated in 2009 and new photo panels are interspersed with the older ones. The historical panels are listed below.
