Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center Vintage Postcard Collection

Postcard

Night scenes and building depictions on postcards are among the favorite items housed in the Dorothy Carpenter Medical Archives at Wake Forest School of Medicine.

The collection of nine vintage postcards, or 18, with front and back is small but enjoyable. Information on the back of the postcards highlights facts in the history of Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. There are four publishers of these postcards. They are JB Armstrong News Agency and Penry-Aitchison PTG Co., both based in Winston-Salem. Walter H. Miller is in Williamsburg, VA. and Asheville Post Card Co. is in Asheville, NC.
