Models

Carpenter Library has a wide assortment of anatomical models for use in the medical center. Models are located in the AV area across from the Orange Study Room. 	Anatomical lifting manikin [model] Demonstrates how the vertebrae of the human spinal column react when heavy objects are lifted correctly and incorrectly. The manikin will lift a weight from either of two positions. If the correct posture is used, the spine is undistorted (no spaces between the vertebrae).
