Computers in the LibraryCarpenter Library maintains approximately fifty computers for use by medical center affiliates and visitors at no charge. Each computer has Windows 7, Microsoft Office 2010 (including Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher), Internet access and WakeOne access. The PCs have their own accounts, so that visitors and Allied Health students from other schools may use them. We also have two Computer Classrooms that may be reserved.
The Library maintains two scanning stations with flatbed scanners, Photoshop and Adobe Acrobat Professional software.
For those bringing their own devices, we have wireless internet access throughout the Library. The Guest Network does not connect to printers, however. Library staff can help you transfer your documents and print them.
