Access UpToDate® through WakeOne and earn free CME credit
As part of Carpenter Library’s ongoing commitment to improve the quality of care we provide to our patients, we are pleased to announce that physicians and other healthcare professionals can access UpToDate directly through WakeOne and earn continuing education credit each time you research a question in UpToDate. See the UpToDate website for more information and frequently-asked questions.
Each time you research a question using UpToDate through WakeOne, you earn .5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. Several other types of CME credit are also available. Credit is accrued automatically. To see how many credits you have earned, select CME from the navigation bar in UpToDate. You may process your credits online and print your certificate at any time. The NC Board of Nursing is accepting this type of credit.
***To earn CME/CE contact hours, you MUST access UpToDate through the patient record and you MUST register with UpToDate to redeem your credit. Read the UpToDate CME Brochure (PDF) for more information.
If you click "Skip this for now" it won't ask you to register again for fifteen days, but you can click on the CME tab to register.
