Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
The Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Course is designed for healthcare providers who either direct or participate in the resuscitation of a patient in either the pre-hospital or hospital setting. In this course, participants will enhance their skills in the treatment of cardiovascular emergencies through active participation in a series of simulated cardiopulmonary cases designed to reinforce important concepts.
Prerequisites for all ACLS Classes:
- Participants must have a working knowledge in rhythm interpretation and cardiovascular pharmacology.
- Participants must have a current BLS provider card (if class taken outside WFBMC, fax a copy of the card to 336-716-5927 with note stating which class you registered for).
- Participants should have a current ACLS Provider Manual.
- It is required that participants complete the pretest at heart.org/eccstudent (code: acls15).

HeartCode ACLS (part 1 online, part 2 at Life Support Education Department for a skills evaluation)
