Graduate Students From Area Universities Compete in 2nd Annual
Maya Angelou Center for Health Equity Bowl

 

Teams comprised of graduate students from Appalachian State University, the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Winston-Salem State University, Wake Forest University and the Wake Forest School of Medicine tackled health disparities issues in the 2nd annual Maya Angelou Center for Health Equity (MACHE) Bowl held March 2, 2013 at Wake Forest Biotech Atrium.

The MACHE Bowl features three interdisciplinary teams of graduate students from the various schools who address a complex health disparity issue from multiple disciplinary approaches.  Student teams interact to solve a healthcare case before a live audience.  The case is prepared and judged by a panel of faculty.
