Graduate Students From Area Universities Compete in 3rd Annual
Maya Angelou Center for Health Equity Bowl


Teams comprised of graduate students from Appalachian State University, the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Winston-Salem State University, Wake Forest University and the Wake Forest School of Medicine tackled health disparities issues in the 3rd Annual Maya Angelou Center for Health Equity (MACHE) Bowl held October 14, 2014 at Wake Forest Biotech Atrium.

The MACHE Bowl featured three interdisciplinary teams of graduate students from the various schools who address a complex health disparity issue from multiple disciplinary approaches.  Student teams interact to solve a healthcare case before a live audience.  The case is prepared and judged by a panel of faculty.
