Faculty and Student Development

LAUNCH - Overview

Welcome to LAUNCH, a faculty mentoring program of the Maya Angelou Center for Health Equity at Wake Forest School of Medicine. The Maya Angelou Center for Health Equity envisions the achievement of health equity by moving scientific discovery to action.  LAUNCH is committed to the development of skills useful to underrepresented racial/ethnic minority faculty as well as others interested in health disparities/health equity research. It is designed to be a compliment to other mentoring programs. Currently, faculty members are able to receive guidance and support through LAUNCH's Diversity Supplement Program.

Additional LAUNCH programs and activities will be made available as the need arises. Please stay tuned for more exciting LAUNCH developments!

If you would like to learn more about LAUNCH and/or are interested in pursuing a Diversity Supplement, please contact Ms. Montez Lane, Research Education and Training Core Program Manager, 336-713-5066 or .
