An Update from the North Carolina Coalition Initiative

 February 22, 2016

The North Carolina Coalition Initiative (NCCI) Coordinating Center will not be issuing a request for applications for fiscal year 2017 (July 1, 2016 – June 30, 2017).

The NCCI Coordinating Center has provided funding and technical assistance to 31 community-based prevention coalitions, from all parts of the state, to participate in its capacity building program over the past eight years.

Over the next few months (February – May), we will be working with our state partners to assess current coalition and community needs and how best to support their efforts.  This will ensure that North Carolina remains at the forefront of innovative prevention work, as the field of prevention evolves.

  Pleased stay tuned for updates!

If you have any questions at this time, please feel free to contact Maria Parries, NCCI Program Coordinator, at mparries@wakehealth.edu / 336-716-6196 or Montez Lane, NCCI Program Manager, at ymlane@wakehealth.edu / 336-713-5066.
