Inpatient Neurology Service

The Inpatient Neurology Service is composed of 2 teams, the Stroke Service and the General Service, each with an attending physician, a neurology resident, a medical house officer, and 5 to 6 medical students.

Each service averages 8 to 12 patients with a huge variety of neurological conditions. The consult team will follow approximately 20 patients at a time.

We have an extensive Outpatient Neurologic Clinic where we see over 15,000 patients with neurologic disorders each year. We provide a special triage service where urgent patients can be seen within 24 to 48 hours.
