Outpatient Neurology Clinic

The Outpatient Neurology Clinic, an outpatient clinic of North Carolina Baptist Hospital, is located on the 4th Floor of the Richard Janeway Clinical Sciences Tower. Our clinic boasts 16 exam rooms, a 2-bed treatment room, and an Ultrasonology Lab.

Limited on-site laboratory facilities are available for clinic patients and research studies. Our waiting area seats approximately 60 patients and visitors.

The clinic is staffed by 12 full-time and 2 part-time administrative employees. Reception, check out, records management, telephone messages, transcription and insurance are managed by this group.

The clinical staff includes 3 RNs and 3 CNAs. One RN and 1 CNA are dedicated to the Epilepsy section. One RN and 2 CNAs support the general Neurology areas. The RN Nurse Manager is responsible for overall clinic operation.

Neurology Clinic Staff

Patient appointments are scheduled upon referral from another physician on a first-available basis. Urgent appointments are scheduled with the triage physician either the same day or the next day.

The resident's Continuity Clinic offers another avenue for an expedited appointment. Every patient is supervised by an attending neurologist.
