Spinal Vascular Malformations
A spinal vascular malformation is an abnormal connection
between veins and arteries in the spine that creates a lesion. It is repaired
or removed through open spine surgery, during which a long incision is made
along the back and tissue and muscles are cut away.
Each lesion is unique, so a treatment plan must be tailored
to each patient.
