WFUBMC Wins Publication Awards

The Communicator Awards and Healthcare Marketing Report, The National Newspaper of Healthcare Marketing, recognized Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center as winners of 10 awards in advertising and other publications.

WFUBMC''s Office of Public Relations and Marketing received three awards from The Communicator Awards and seven awards from Healthcare Marketing Report, including a Best of Show and gold medal for the Brenner Children''s Hospital and Health Services web site, and two gold medals for ads promoting Aegis Family Health Centers.

The Communicator Awards is a national awards organization that recognizes outstanding work in the communications field. Entries are judged by industry professionals who look for companies and individuals whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence. There were 2,200 entries from 49 states and Canada in The Communicator Awards'' 1999 Print Media Competition.

Healthcare Marketing Report is a monthly magazine for health care marketers that reports on the latest trends in advertising, marketing, and public relations and features highlights on the newest industry products and services.
