BestHealth to sponsor program on common sports injuries

WINSTON-SALEM --David Martin, M.D., an orthopaedic surgeon on staff at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center and Mike Tolloti, the assistant strength and conditioning coach at Wake Forest University, will speak at a BestHealth program on Tuesday, May 17 at 6 p.m. at the Central YMCA on West End Blvd. The program, titled "Treatment of Common Sports Injuries," will teach participants about healing common injuries to the feet, hip, knee and leg. Brad Fowler, a physical therapist specializing in sports medicine, will also participate in the seminar.

All ages are welcome. A light supper and babysitting will be provided. Registration is required by calling 716-2255.
